Click Calculate for volume in cubic yards, meters, and bag counts.
Concrete is sold by the cubic yard (27 cu ft). Bagged concrete: an 80 lb bag yields about 0.6 cu ft, a 60 lb bag about 0.45 cu ft. Always add ~5–10% extra for spillage and uneven subgrade.
About 45 bags of 80 lb (or 60 bags of 60 lb) make 1 cubic yard. For small jobs under 0.5 yd³, bags are easier; for larger pours, order ready-mix by the yard.
